Established nearly a hundred years ago, the Zallo company is based in the Basque town of Bermeo, Spain, the most important fishing port of the region. Zallo’s location is perfect. White tuna and anchovies are fished right from the Cantabrian Sea at their shores. Sardines, mussels and Octopus come in from Galicia and its estuaries, which are located just to the west of Bermeo.
